01/31/2010 - - We Are Not Saved By the Law

Pray for Haiti

We will continue to pray for the victims of the earthquake in Haiti.  We would encourage you to pray specifically for those who have been bereaved, those who are injured, and the relief workers.

Announcements 

The annual Parish Meeting was held on Jan, 31st, 2010 after the church service.  Several important topics were discussed. If you missed the meeting, and would like details, please contact the pastor or one of the wardens.

We are going the revive the bell choir, and if you are musically talented, (or even if you are not!); please contact Mrs. Ginger McLynn GingerMcLynn@emmanuelrecnj.org and we would be happy to have you join us.  The plan is to have the bell choir ready for Easter.  The bells are the ones you see in the last photo on the right.

Youth Group: We have a youth group that meets every 2nd Friday of the month, at 7:00 pm.  It is combined with members from St. Lukes, and Covenant Chapel Churches. If you would like to bring your children to join in, please contact Rev. McLynn gmclynn@emmanuelrecnj.org.

Men's Group Meeting: The first meeting was held on Thursday, October, 1st, 2009 @ 6:00 PM in the church.  Contact Rev. McLynn for details and future meetings.

Adult Sunday School: Started on Sunday, Oct, 4th, 2009 @ 9:00 AM, before the regular service in the classroom behind the sanctuary.  All are welcome.

New Bible Study: A bible study program has started at 7:00 in the Church Classroom.  Click on the Worship Link on the left for details.  It is never too late to join!  Contact us for more information. gmclynn@emmanuelrecnj.org
